Venere Black Rice Recipe

Venere black rice is one type of Italian black rice and this black rice grows in Italy. It is used to make pilaf, salad and dessert. Ingredients

  1. Venere Black rice (1 cup)
  2. Water (2 and 1/2 cups)
  3. Avocado oil ( 3 tbsp)
  4.  Shrimp ( 5 )
  5. Minced garlic ( 1 tsp)
  6. Onion (1)
  7. Salt ( 1 tsp or as our taste)
  8. Ground black pepper (1/2 tsp)
  9. Green chilies (2)
  10. Green peas (1/4 cup)
  11. Sliced tomatoes
  12. Coriander leaves

Methods

  • Firstly, cut the onion, green chilies and coriander leaves into small pieces.
  • Then, mince the garlic.
  • Then, wash the venere black rice and soak it for 30 minutes.
  • Then put avocado oil, onion, minced garlic, shrimp, green peas, salt, black pepper, and green chilies in the nonstick saucepan.
  • Then, fry all that ingredients for 1 minute.
  • Then, add the soaked venere black rice and water to the saucepan.
  • Then, stir all the ingredients very well with a wooden spatula.
  • Then, cover the lid of the saucepan and cook for 10 minutes on high heat.
