Ingredients

  1. Boneless beef meat ( 1/2 kg )
  2. Yellow split peas ( 1 cup )
  3. Chickpeas ( 2 cups )
  4. Onion ( 1 )
  5. Olive oil ( 2 cups )
  6. Cinnamon powder ( 2 tsp )
  7. Ground black pepper ( 2 tsp )
  8. Turmeric powder ( 1 tsp )
  9. Saffron powder ( 1 tsp )
  10. Egg (3)
  11. Water ( 6 cups ) ( for boiling chickpeas and split peas )
  12. Salt ( 1 and 1/2 tsp or as your taste )
Methods
  • Firstly, cut beef meat and onion into small pieces.
  • Then, soak the chickpeas for 8 hours in the water.
  • Then, boil the chickpeas with an electric pressure cooker for 12 minutes on high-pressure mode.
  • Then, strain the chickpeas with a strainer.
  • Then, soak the split peas for 3 minutes in the water.
  • Then, boil the split peas with an electric pressure cooker for 13 minutes on high-pressure mode.
