Persian Sekanjabin Recipe

Sekanjabin is a Persian cold drink. It is an ancient cold drink that is eaten in the summer season. The ancient Persian people used honey instead of sugar as a sweetener to make this sweet drink. Now Persian people make this drink with sugar. So the Persian Sekanjabin recipe is-

Ingredients

  1. Mint leaves ( 1 bunch ) (for making syrup )
  2. Honey ( 2 cups )
  3. Water ( 3 and 1/2 cups ) ( for making syrup )
  4. Cold water ( 8 cups )
  5. Apple cider vinegar ( 1/2 cup )
  6. Cucumber ( 3 )
  7. Ice cubes

Methods

  • Firstly, cut the mint leaves into small pieces.
  • Then, shred the cucumbers with a grater.
  • Then, put the honey, water, apple cider vinegar in the pan and cook it for 1 minute.
  • Then, add the mint leaves to the pan and cook it for 2 minutes.
  • Then, liquid syrup will be made.
  • Then, strain the syrup with a strainer.
  • Then, cool down the syrup.
  • Then, put the syrup, shredded cucumber, mint leaves, cold water in the glass pitcher and mix it very well.
  • Then, sekanjabin will be made.
  • Lastly, serve this healthy sekanjabin with ice cubes.

  1. Pomegranate juice ( 3 cups )
  2. Pomegranate seeds ( 1 cup )

  4. Rice vinegar ( 4 tbsp )
